Description
Nature has a lot to show you, and what better way to do it than while you cool off, splash or play.
Relaxing and having fun is possible, and we are going to show it to you in this simple activity, of approximately 3 kms that runs between two countries: Spain and Portugal.
We will have moments of wildlife watching, we will see the pesqueiras (construction used to catch lamprey), we will get wet, we will relax while surrounded by swallows and we will come out of the river more alive than ever.
Kites, ducks, and a whole natural world to discover in this sustainable activity of active ecotourism.

Ecotourist Commitment
- Area protected by the Natura 2000 Network. Miño River.
- Get to know the flora and fauna of the Miño river with a guide. Most common species,
endemic species, invasive species...
- Workers of the area, qualified, insurances, contracts...
- Small groups with silent boats that do not use fossil fuels to reduce the impact on the fauna.
Prices
Individual rate (from 1 to 14 pax):
- 30€/adults.
- 25€/children up to 15 years old.
- 15€/children up to 9 years old.
Families or groups please consult
Note: minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The price includes
- Double self-bailing kayak (with extra place for children under 10 years old).
- Paddle and waistcoat.
- Kayak instructor.
- Insurance cover (RC and accidents).
Timetable
- 10:00h and 16:00h.
May, June, September and October according to demand and with activities published in networks.
Activity details
- Languages available: Spanish, Galician or Portuguese. For English or Italian please confirm in advance.
- Minimum group size: 6 pax.
- Activity dependent on weather conditions.
- Possibility of making it adapted for PRM (it is necessary to make a specific section and manage displacement between access and exit, please consult).
Do not forget
VERY IMPORTANT:
- Wear comfortable clothes and footwear to get wet. It is important to wear thermal clothing.
- Possibility to borrow neoprene and thermal T-shirt (5€).
